Glass text is a really cool effect. This tutorial will show you how to get that glass look with text (and anything else, really; I just used the word 'text' specifically for no reason).
Step 1
Open your image in PhotoShop. I'm going to use this gradient:

Now put your text on it, or anything else in a new layer. I'm simply going to write 'Heartless Adrenaline.'

Step 2
When you're done, right-click on the layer you want to look like glass and click on 'blending options.' Select the 'inner glow' option, and set your settings like the one below:
Step 3
Now, make your text transparent by inputting '0%' as the fill for the layer you're working with.
You're pretty much done! I'm going to continue to get more of an effect.
Step 4
Now, I'm going to go back to the layer's blending options and select a small depth for the text to look like it's coming out of the screen a bit.
Now I'm done! You can add more effects to yours, such as adding sparkles. Here's my final result:
